The Mockingbirds of Galápagos

The Mockingbirds of Galápagos tells the story of the isolated and unique Floreana Mockingbird, a species first described by Darwin and his colleagues during their legendary visit to the islands in 1835.

Floreana Mockingbirds are actually quarantined on two tiny islets off the larger island of Floreana. Read the comic to find out why!

The Charles Darwin Foundation commissioned this short comic in 2009, but it was never published.
