In conversation with Climate Optimists

by | Sep 25, 2021

For a good two years now I have been networking intensely with other authors, educators, creatives, communicators and anyone who shares my concerns and sense of urgency regarding the state of our natural environment, global society and planet. The COVID pandemic has unexpectedly helped make this happen, as more and more of us communicate online.

One of the outcomes of this networking frenzy is my having helped create an online group: the Climate Optimists. This motley crew of misfits includes an ex-police officer and hostage negotiator turned environmentalist and author, a journalist, podcaster and writer who attended the very first Earth Day in April 1970 (when yours truly was  only 4 months old), an author and philosopher, an owner of multiple businesses and technological innovator, and several others besides.

Here is the first of a series of short video conversations about all things climate, environment and society, with a tinge of optimism.
